Our History

For some people all it takes is one event to discover their life’s mission.  That moment came for me David Markell Campbell where I served 17 years in a Men's California State Prison for robbery and released in 2017 and have never looked back. 
Oh, but by the Grace of GOD my life has been different from that day forward until now, even to my surprise at times. Fast forward this journey has led me to my present role as the President of David Markell an accessory website created to empower and celebrate the King in all Men! With a second chance at life, redirecting my creative ideas in a positive way and being a influence for other men, David Markell became a Vision. It all began in the heart of San Diego, California in a small room with a computer. 

Our space was small, but my dreams and visions were bigger. There is something about ex-felons that make us good candidates for being entrepreneurs. There’s a drive that makes us want to be different and to stand out among the crowd. When I decided that I would never go back to crime and prison, my drive didn’t leave, it was just refocused.
 From then on, my drive and motivation would be success for me and those around me. Despite my humble beginnings, David Markell has grown into one of the world’s premier men’s accessory company. Through it all, we’ve stayed true to original ambition: We are dedicated to those who wear our products. In meeting their needs, we must produce quality products. Our objective is to serve our customers as they want to be served, providing the best shopping experience and quality products at great prices. Quality control must be an integral part of our process creating long-term relationships with our client base.
With my passion for men's fashion, I hope and strives to make today's modern gentlemen look and feel dapper.
